Solju

Every client's bank files, into Fennoa — checked.

Drop statements, receipts and card-terminal reports into one inbox for the whole firm. Solju proposes whose each file is, proves the statements it reads against their own balances, and proposes the journal. Every account and VAT code is a proposal the accountant approves.

BANKS FENNOA Recognises Matches Delivers Proves Proposes

The problem Not every bank reaches Fennoa by itself.

Fennoa has no bank feed for Revolut — nor for Wise, N26 or Payoneer. And many small companies at other banks have no bank connection set up, so what reaches the firm is a PDF statement, a folder of receipts and a card terminal's sales report. Today somebody sorts, types and matches all of it by hand, client by client, month by month.

Solju reads these files as they are: a statement or a sales report is recognised by what it contains, not by its name.

How it works Five steps, one rule.

Every step can be checked, and no step ever makes a bookkeeping decision on a person's behalf.

01

Recognise

Files go into the firm's inbox. A statement or report is recognised by its content and proposed to a client by its IBAN or business ID. A person files it.

02

Prove

Every statement Solju reads is checked against its own balances and totals. One that does not add up is refused, not read.

03

Match

A receipt is tied to a transaction by amount, date and vendor together — never by amount alone, and never by chance.

04

Propose

Every account and VAT code carries a confidence level. The accountant sees at a glance what needs a look.

05

Deliver

Named documents and the journal proposal, to the firm and to Fennoa.

The tool proposes. The accountant decides.

Every account and VAT code is a proposal carrying a confidence level. Anything below high confidence goes on the review list — never through silently.

High — settled Low — review Unknown — your call

What you get Named documents and coding, not a guess.

One inbox for the whole firm

Drop any client's files in one place, a zip at a time if you like. Each file says what it is, whose it is and why, and what to check. Nothing is filed until a person confirms it.

Statements proven, or refused

Revolut's camt.053 statement and Holvi's and OP's PDF statements are checked against their own figures. A month gets its green tick only when no transaction was dropped or counted twice.

Several bank accounts per client

Each bank account has its own ledger account and statement chain, and an account found in a new statement is proposed with a ledger account from the client's own chart. A transfer between the client's own accounts is one entry, bank to bank.

Card-terminal sales

PayPal POS (Zettle) and Flatpay sales reports become one entry each, a line per VAT rate, and the payouts in the bank are checked against them. The sales VAT codes stay proposals until the firm's owner confirms them.

Settings proposed, not typed

A client's business ID and VAT registration are proposed from its own documents and from the Finnish trade register (PRH). They fill empty fields only, and only when the firm's owner confirms.

Fennoa journal proposal

A nine-column CSV in exactly the shape Fennoa expects — not a spreadsheet to fix by hand.

Vendor memory

A vendor taught once is recognised automatically after that. The second month is faster than the first.

VAT registration by date

Registration is a date, not a checkbox — earlier periods correctly stay outside VAT.

In progress What is being built now.

All of it grows Solju, under the same rule: the tool proposes, the accountant decides.

AI reader for receipts and invoices

Being built

Reads a receipt or an invoice of any layout and proposes its seller, date, amounts and VAT lines. Solju's own checks empty any value the document does not hold, and the reader never chooses a VAT code. Off for every firm until its owner switches it on.

Coding from the client's own history

Next

The client's earlier postings for the same counterparty become the proposal. Where there are none, a model may propose — always below high confidence, and a model never settles a VAT code.

Anti-money-laundering signals

Next

Plain rules for large cash amounts, payments split to stay under a limit, unusual sizes and money that only passes through — shown to the firm, never to the client.

More banks, a second system

Next

Nordea's statement, read and proven the same way, and the same proposed entries written for Netvisor as well as Fennoa.

Being built means the work has started; next means it is planned. Neither is promised with a date.

Platform One platform, first module done.

Solju is not one tool but a platform for the accounting firm: the same firm-and-client model, the same append-only log and the same rule in every module — the tool proposes, the accountant decides.

Bank to books

In use

From bank files, receipts and sales reports to named documents and a journal proposal. This page is about it.

Monthly controls

Under evaluation

A checklist and reconciliations against the books every month — what is missing, what is unfinished, what looks wrong.

Reporting

Under evaluation

Profit and loss and balance sheet from the books to the client's portal, on the firm's own template.

Year-end analysis

Under evaluation

An analysis of the year's figures in the firm's own voice — a draft the accountant finishes.

Under evaluation means under evaluation: these are being developed with pilot firms, and none of them is promised with a date.

Security No client's data without separation.

Location

Documents are kept in Finland (Helsinki). Application data sits in the EU (Ireland). Nightly backups are encrypted on the server before they are stored in the EU.

Isolation

Every firm's data is separated at the database policy level — not only in application code — and it is verified by an automated test.

Record

Every send is recorded in an append-only log. Nothing is ever posted automatically.

Sign-in

No passwords. Each sign-in is a six-digit code sent to the person's email, and only an address a firm has invited can have an account.

AI

Off until the firm's owner switches it on, after reading where documents go: to Anthropic, processed outside the EU under the EU's standard contractual clauses. Every call is recorded.

Nothing invented

A business ID or VAT code that was not read from a document or a register stays empty. No confidence level is ever raised to make a list shorter.

For whom For accounting firms — not their clients.

Solju is sold to the accounting firm, which decides how it appears to its own clients.

Questions Short answers.

Does Solju post anything to Fennoa automatically?

No. Solju produces a journal proposal and named documents. Every account and VAT code is a proposal with a confidence level, and the accountant decides what is entered.

Which banks does Solju support?

Today: Revolut Business (its CSV exports and its camt.053 statement), Holvi and OP (their Finnish PDF statements), and the sales reports of PayPal POS (Zettle) and Flatpay. Nordea is next. Wise, N26 and Payoneer are the same problem, not a feature yet.

Where is the data?

Documents in Helsinki, application data in the EU (Ireland), encrypted backups in the EU. Every firm is separated at the database level. The AI reader sends the documents it reads to Anthropic, processed outside the EU under the EU's standard contractual clauses — only if the firm switches it on.

Is Fennoa's API required?

No. Documents are delivered to Fennoa's own document intake and the journal proposal to the accountant. A direct API connection is under evaluation, not a prerequisite.

Who is Solju for?

Accounting firms whose clients bank with Revolut, Holvi or OP, or sell through a card terminal. Pricing is per client company per month, and the firm decides how it appears to the client.

Does Solju use AI?

Only if the firm chooses to. An AI reader for receipts and invoices is being built: it is off until the firm's owner switches it on, every value it gives is marked as an AI proposal and checked against the document, every call is recorded, and it never chooses a VAT code. Reading statements, matching and coding are plain rules that can be checked.
